Happy Spring!

I am struck by the depth of profound inner personal work that so many are doing right now to change lives through empowered perception and choice. We are getting creative, listening to our deepest longings, and moving personal and collective mountains. The energies of Easter offer a perfect time to honor the rising up from the collective victim consciousness of ‘life happens to me’, into a trust in your divine core that ‘grace happens through me’. This returns you to the Miracle Mindset.

The Miracle Mindset awakens when you put your messiest situations, greatest confusion or fear, and biggest requests into the hands of the divine to orchestrate an outcome that is beyond your current state of comprehension or even imagination. When you can’t see the way through, you need a miracle. Your job is then to trust that guidance is coming to you in this moment. Look for it, listen for it, and remain deeply present to receive it and willing to act upon it.

The Miracle Mindset reunites you with your big Self. This Self is the source of love. It forgives and compensates us even for huge mistakes, misdirection or injustices. It forgives with wisdom- holding on to the teaching but letting go of the bondage of pain- so that you can return to love and let the miraculous back in.

Your soul came in with a purpose to fulfill.

When you entered into a human body you forgot your purpose just so that you could go through all of the experiences that would help you remember and embody it. And in that state of forgetting you bonded to your environment, including family and belief systems, in order to get your basic emotional, physical and relational needs met. It had to be good enough or you would not have survived. But because you are a soul on a mission, you eventually reach a Point of Destiny that initiates an undeniable desire to move beyond survival and experience the thriving of your purpose that is more than possible - it is your birthright and your most natural state of being.

The key at this Point of Destiny is to realize that if you bonded with any belief systems that were anything less that totally supportive of you being the biggest, brightest and most prosperous version of your most natural self, then you need to consciously and regularly intend to let that support in now so that you can rewire your brain to choose to thrive.

It is an ongoing practice to remember that the support is there for us and we don’t have to figure it all out on our own. In fact, we are not meant to. If you wish to stop struggling with this process, I highly recommend a daily practice of giving your longings over to the divine embrace, aligning with love’s will for your life, and cultivating the courage and willingness take the next step. The night has been long and deep your slumber. Your dreams have been active, the subconscious mind has ruled your reality creating both your greatest fears and your biggest fantasies. Humanity’s collective unconscious thoughts and agreements have significantly influenced the direction of your energy and the course your life has taken. But now, with darkest part of the night giving way to the very first sign of light, you begin to awaken, perhaps a bit disoriented or groggy. It is early, in the wee hours of the morning, with only a kiss of illumination on the horizon. Most of the world around you remains fast asleep. It is quiet and an auspicious time to meditate, to receive your highest self, to align your conscious mind with your ability to act and to take fresh steps forward. This new light emerges slowly over many, many years, and you shall enjoy the waves of freshness and promise. It is the dawn of a new day, a new era.

Just as we go through cycles of day and night, so does the universe. Only instead of taking 24 hours it takes thousands of years to mark one complete day and night cycle. Acknowledged by the Mayan calendar, December 21st, 2012 is the end of one full cycle. It marks the completion of the night, the darkness, and the dawn of a new day. You have already begun to remember that you chose to be here precisely for this change in cycles. You made a promise to usher in the daylight hours and be, as author Barbara Marciniak wrote, ‘Bringers of the Dawn’. 

You have been preparing for this ‘shift’ into the daylight for a long time. For many, it has meant multiple life times of cleaning up where you fell out of integrity with your divine Self: looking at where you gave your power away while trying to get your basic needs met, where you stepped into the illusion and immaturity of jealousy, greed, laziness, and how you attempted to avoid pain to obtain pleasure. You knew that the night would not last forever, and you have been learning how to stand in the presence of pain and step through it into the growth of your soul. You have been learning about the opportunities inherent in keeping your eyes wide open to your thoughts, words and actions. With this practice you have begun to reveal hidden aspects of your psyche that tried to hide from being seen for fear of rejection, abandonment, betrayal. You have been cultivating the courage to recognize the vision held by your bigger divine Self; and then cultivated even more to be compelled, pulled, by it to create something good on this planet as the rest of humanity begins to awaken from its collective slumber.

There have always been awakened beings on planet Earth, but this time we wake up together. With recent, horrific tragedies we are once again reminded that we must honestly face illness, violence and suffering. We are more connected than ever and what occurs in one small corner of the Earth ripples out to affect all of us. It is a time to become aware of what is really happening on planet Earth. We need to keep naming, talking and being honest about the issues that keep people asleep in suffering. And you especially need to remember who you really are so that you may become fully responsible for your power and choices to create your life – inevitably affecting the lives of others. It is time to bring the subconscious fears, misconceptions and falsities, held within the collective unconscious, to the illumination of the Great Sacred Sun within you – your God self, your big Self with a capital ‘S’, your true divine nature. And we need patience, lots of patience, as the grogginess of the slumber can pull us back to sleep, and many will stay asleep for a while yet, too afraid to fully awaken to their true self.

The dawn calls on us to make the changes we wish to see in the world personally, collectively, ceremonially, and practically. Take this Winter Solstice time to reflect on where you have been, where you are now and how you may want to put your energy into something meaningful for this planet. What will your legacy of awakening be?  A loving and honoring relationship with your self, more clear and loving relationship with your family and friends, a community offering of empowerment, sustainability or justice, changes to health care starting with your own, artistic creation that inspires your brothers and sisters to remember the light that dwells within them, a cultivation of kindness that lifts the veil of separation between self and other. These are just some of the ways we will usher in the dawn of this new era of awakening for the whole planet. We are doing this together now. May waves of pure, clean, divine love ripple through your heart and into the heart of humankind.

In numerology 12 signifies completion, the Divine Mother/Feminine, creative capacity, cosmic harmony and spiritual order. On December 12th groups and individuals all over the world will be intentionally meditating to focus on the divine light of illumination. As we look closer at what these 12’s mean we can become even more clear about how the light we are drawing in is working on us. Three 12’s give us three aspects of an initiation into the evolutionary leap we are making as we near the end of 2012. It’s exciting, it’s promising, and it’s what you make of it.

The first aspect shows us that we are entering a phase of completion of old, limiting stories - the karma that is ready to be released in mass out of your cells. What patterns have you become aware of in your self, especially during the last year, that no longer work for you? The light penetrating the Earth has been illuminating how you have strayed from who you really are, your bigger identity, and forgotten your true purpose for being here. You are learning what you need to say ‘no’ to in order to feel your self and experience the freedom that you intended. Where you have been feeling discomfort or experiencing disease, struggle, depression or unhappiness, you need to let go of something - a belief, a relationship, a situation - and know that you are capable of dealing with the pain of that loss because Divine Source is your supply and it provides you with everything you need. When you say ‘no’ to what does not work, you claim your power, your life force.

And what will you do with your power? The second 12 signifies the path of true fulfillment. As you engage in this sloughing off process with conscious intent, you create space in your life for the divine feminine and the creative mystery. The feminine aspect is the part of you that feels joy, passion and love. When you are in touch with her, you are in touch with your most sacred desires. In this aspect of the initiation, you begin to discover what you are saying ‘yes’ to and you marry it with your divine masculine energy to say it and follow through with conviction. This is the portion of the leap where you align with your longings no matter what is going on in your present circumstances, and use its energy to engage the alchemy of your soul. When you say ‘yes’ you focus your life force into your purpose.

As you practice these first two aspects of this evolutionary leap, you automatically put your self into alignment with the third: resonating with cosmic order, divine harmony with the universe. There are many of you that may feel that you have been releasing and setting boundaries around what does not work and simultaneously opening to what you truly desire, but yet still not experiencing the full manifestation of your dreams. So, what gives? Well, that is because humanity and the Earth share a collective consciousness, and as such we are collectively saying ‘no’ and ‘yes’ in order to birth a new reality in which dreams based in love can flourish.

In short, we are in this together, as a species, as a planet, and as a cosmic organism of intelligence; we need each other, and we need each other to be true to our selves so that we can use all of that creative energy collaboratively. And that is truly the essence of the third 12, to come into synchronistic flow with the divine, unfolding co-creative plan together, as one. On 12~12~12 we have a unique opportunity to lift each other up and fly through the portal of positive change, personally and globally.
